Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2014 #LFDW2014 DAY 1: April by Kunbi, Weiz Dhurm Franklyn, Pablo Sisiano, Otumemine, Phunk Afrique, Orente Ayaba & Samson Soboye

This year's Lagos Fashion and Design Week holds at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island. We got our press passes, lights, cameras, and will be bringing you all collections from the runway, the exhibition, and a bit of backstage too.

Fashion Focus exhibition by new names in the Nigerian design industry showed lots of promise. Designers showcased included L'Emiral Couture, Fruche, Cinnamon & Pearl, TitiBelo and several others.

Seasoned designers who took the runway on the first day include OtumemineCouture, Sisiano, Weiz Dhurm Franklyn, April by Kunbi, Samson Soboye, Amede, Orente Ayaba, and Phunk Afrique. The most captivating works were by Kunbi Oyelese of April by Kunbi, and Weiz Dhurm.
