Heineken, the World’s leading international premium lager beer, responds to comments from consumer about their previous TV Commercials; "The Entrance", "The Date" and "The Final". With this new TVC -"The Odyssey"- Heineken shows that their ADs are real with ordinary people like you and me. For the first time Heineken featured non-actors, from an open casting call, in this commercial.
The Odyssey is a commercial that depicts a series of ‘Men of the World’ with unique skills. Each one has a legendary skill that was put to the test, from Lady throwing, to Limbo dancing to bird calling, to disrobing.
Heineken believes that all of its drinkers have a legendary talent; they just need a chance to show it to the world. So the new Heineken television commercial, The Odyssey, provided the platform for 20 ordinary men to show the world what they’ve got.
