Ezinne (Akudo) Anyaoha is Miss Nigeria 2013

So did I tell you, or did I tell you?! It was too obvious. It was so obvious, that the real celebration right now is the transparency of the Miss Nigeria 2013 contest, even more than the victory of Akudo at the pageant. I was invited to the Miss Nigeria 2013 fanpage by a follower on Twitter who wanted me to vote her friend, then I saw this true beauty, and I thank God we're in a democracy.

The 22-year-old Ezinne Akudo, a law graduate of ABSU, outdid 20 other contestants, and was crowned Miss Nigeria 2013 at about 1 am today, Sunday, 07-07-2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos. Just like African royalty used to be crowned in the old times.

The Miss Nigeria 2013 crown also comes with 3 Million Naira, a brand new car, and a trip to California, USA. Congratulations to Akudo, and the Creative Director of Miss Nigeria, Elohor Elizabeth Aisien, also of Beth Models Africa. We commend the organizers of the event, Daily Times Nigeria, and  African Times Network too for the improvements we see.
