This week is "Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2012", and thank Allah for the public holiday, you've got no other reason to miss Nigeria's foremost fashion event which brings together the media, the fashion industry, and fashionisti to awe at the current collections of designers in the fashion capital of Africa.
The array of designers this year includes Alter Ego, Bridget Awosika, Ituen Basi, Jewel by Lisa, Lanre Da Silva, Mai Atafo, Obsidian, Re Bahia, Republic of Foreigner, and countless others (I literally was unable to count them all).
The Lagos Fashion and Design Week kicks off with a press conference on Wednesday, October 24th at the Porsche Center, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
The main exhibition and catwalk of Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) 2012 is scheduled to take place from 25th to 27th October at the Convention Centre, Le Meridien, Eko Hotel and Suites.
